About this tool

Paste TypeScript and click Format for consistently indented, readable code, or Minify for a compact form with comments and blank lines removed (see the FAQ for what Minify does and doesn’t do here).

Frequently asked questions

What does this tool use to format TypeScript?
Prettier's TypeScript parser, running entirely in your browser — it understands types, generics, decorators, and other TypeScript-specific syntax.
What does Minify do?
This isn't a true minifier — safely collapsing code onto fewer lines requires full semicolon-insertion-aware parsing, which is out of scope here. Instead it produces a compact form: comments and blank lines removed, line breaks kept intact. For real production minification, use a dedicated bundler/minifier.
Is my code sent to your servers?
No. Formatting runs entirely in your browser.
