About this tool
Choose a content type, fill in its fields, and a QR code appears instantly. Style it with a custom color, an optional icon overlay, and your preferred error-correction level, then download it as PNG or SVG.
Frequently asked questions
- What content types are supported?
- URL/Link, plain text, email address, phone number, WhatsApp link, Telegram link, and WiFi network — each is encoded in the correct format for its scan action (e.g. a WiFi code encodes the network name, password, and encryption type so a phone camera can join automatically).
- Why does turning on an icon force error correction to High?
- The icon overlay covers real QR modules in the middle of the code. High error correction (30%) reserves enough redundancy to keep the code scannable even with that area covered — lower levels risk an unreadable code once an icon is added.
- Why does picking white as the code color turn on transparent background?
- A white code on a white background is invisible. Transparent background is enabled automatically so the code stays visible on any page.
- Are the WhatsApp and Telegram icons the official logos?
- No — generic chat/send icons are used instead of trademarked brand marks. The generated links themselves (wa.me / t.me) work exactly the same either way.
- PNG or SVG — which should I use?
- SVG for print or any use where the code will be resized (it's real vector geometry, including the icon, so it never loses sharpness). PNG for quick web/screen use.
- Is my data — including WiFi passwords — sent anywhere?
- No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter here, including a WiFi password, is ever sent to a server.
