Frequently asked questions
- What does this do exactly?
- It's the inverse of JSON Stringify Text: it parses a JSON string literal (starting and ending with double quotes) and returns the raw, unescaped text it represents.
- What if my input isn't a valid JSON string?
- A clear error message is shown — either the input isn't valid JSON at all, or it parses to something other than a string (e.g. a number or object).
- Is my text sent to your servers?
- No. Parsing runs entirely in your browser.
