About WebCodeIn

A growing collection of developer and text utilities that never leave your browser.

Why WebCodeIn exists

Most online converters and text tools ask you to paste your data into a form and hit submit — which means that data, whatever it is, travels to someone else’s server first. For configuration files, API keys, and connection strings, that’s a real risk, not a theoretical one. WebCodeIn started as an Environment Variable Converter built around a simple rule: the conversion runs entirely client-side, in your browser, so nothing you paste is ever uploaded.

That rule turned out to generalize well beyond environment variables, so WebCodeIn has grown into 117+ tools across 5 categories — formatters, encoders, generators, case converters, and font-style transforms — all built the same way: instant, live output, no submit button, no account, and no server round trip for your data.

How it works

Every tool on this site runs its logic — parsing, transforming, formatting — as plain JavaScript in your browser tab. Some tools read a file you provide (an image, a PDF, a Word document); that read happens locally via the browser’s own file APIs, and the file is never sent anywhere either. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what does and doesn’t touch a network request.

What’s next

WebCodeIn is under active development — new tools ship regularly. If there’s a converter, formatter, or generator you’d like to see, let us know. For a look at where this is headed as a whole, see Projects.
