About this tool
Type or paste text and it’s converted to a stylish Unicode alphabet automatically, ready to paste into a post, your bio, or your display name. Bold is the default here since X has no built-in formatting at all, but the gallery below has every other style too.
Frequently asked questions
- Does X (Twitter) officially support these fonts?
- X has no built-in rich-text formatting for posts, bios, or display names. What you're pasting is ordinary Unicode text made of different code points (Bold, Gothic, Bubble, and so on), which X just displays like any other character — that's why it works in a post, your bio, and even your display name.
- Do styled characters count differently toward the character limit?
- Some do. X's character counter treats most Latin-range Unicode characters as 1 character each, same as plain text, but a handful of styles here use characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (some Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols, for instance) that X's counter may count as 2. If you're right at the limit, paste into the compose box first and check the live counter before posting.
- Can I preview other styles without leaving this page?
- Yes — the gallery below the text boxes lets you switch the live preview to any registered style, and pin favorites for quick access next time.
