Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the two outputs?
Small Caps renders letters as smaller capital-shaped Unicode characters at normal baseline height; Superscript renders them raised and shrunk, like a footnote marker. Both are real, separate Unicode code points, not a font effect.
Does every letter have both forms?
No — Small Caps has no genuine Unicode form for q or x, and Superscript has no genuine form for uppercase C, F, Q, S, X, Y, Z or lowercase q. Those characters pass through unchanged in the affected output.
